{"id":780,"date":"2016-05-06T09:35:05","date_gmt":"2016-05-06T09:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ironkladtraining.com\/?p=780"},"modified":"2016-05-07T02:35:57","modified_gmt":"2016-05-07T02:35:57","slug":"heros-and-villian-or-duality-of-coaching","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ironkladtraining.com\/?p=780","title":{"rendered":"Heros and Villian or Duality of Coaching"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DC and Marvel \u00a0do a great job building characters that people can relate to you, see a contrast where the heroes epitomize good, they are idealistic and symbolic of virtue rarely taking life outside of collateral damage caused by the villain.\u00a0 Marvel often makes it easy to identify with some villains because much of what created their characters was a type of oppression that humanity created in response to being different.\u00a0 I think the same is true of a good coach.\u00a0\u00a0 A good coach will let you see past the veil that is your goal, and when you arrive, you will be burdened by a new goal. \u00a0\u00a0A villain understands that there will be collateral damage.\u00a0 In Batman vs Superman Lex Luther\u2019s quote:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDid you know the oldest lie in America, Senator? It\u2019s that Power can be innocent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Contrast that with Uncle Ben from Spiderman:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith great power comes great responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A good villain is burdened by being right.
